Mempool backlog
How many transactions are waiting for a block — the mempool queue. A large backlog means blocks are full and senders are bidding fees up against each other; a near-empty one means the next block has room and you can transact at the floor rate. This is the number that decides whether it is a good moment to move coins.
Daily ETF flows — 90d
The same net-flow number as the headline card, drawn day by day for three months. The shape matters more than any single bar: a run of green through a falling price means institutions bought the drawdown, which is a different market than one where flows follow price.
Cumulative ETF flows — since launch
Every daily net flow added together since the spot ETFs began trading in January 2024. It answers the only question that compounds — how much money has actually come in and stayed — rather than what moved yesterday.
Liquidations — 24h
Leveraged positions force-closed by exchanges in the last day, split long against short. A large one-sided figure marks where leverage was concentrated and got flushed; it is usually the mechanical explanation for a candle that looked inexplicable.
Liquidations — 30d
A month of the same, so a violent day can be read against its own context. Sustained high liquidations mean the market is repeatedly rebuilding leverage at levels that will not hold.
Bitcoin uptime
Days since the genesis block on 3 January 2009, and the fact that the network has kept producing blocks roughly every ten minutes ever since. There is no company behind it to schedule a maintenance window and no market close, so the counter has no reason to stop.
Chain & throughput
Three facts about the chain itself: how many gigabytes a full node must store to verify every rule for itself, how many transactions have ever been confirmed, and what share of them use SegWit. Chain size is the real cost of running a node, which is why block size is the argument it is.
Crowd mood
A composite of the sentiment readings on this page rather than a single survey — it moves when several independent measures of crowd emotion agree, which is a slower and more reliable signal than any one of them alone.
Fiat debasement
How fast the money Bitcoin is priced in is being created, from World Bank money-supply data. It is the denominator of every Bitcoin price chart: a rising Bitcoin price and a falling currency are not the same claim, and this is the card that separates them.
Global long %
The share of all accounts across the major exchanges that are positioned long. Unlike the long/short ratio, this counts accounts rather than size, so it reads retail conviction rather than capital. Extremes on this measure have historically been contrarian.
Mining profitability
What a given amount of hashrate earns at today’s difficulty, block reward and fee levels, minus the electricity it consumes. The output is hash price — revenue per terahash per day — which is the number miners actually plan around.
Monthly RSI
Wilder’s Relative Strength Index on a 14-month window rather than the usual 14 days. At that timescale it stops reacting to weekly noise and has historically only reached its upper band near cycle tops and its lower band in deep bear markets.
Power Law model
A straight-line fit of price against time on a log-log scale, anchored at the genesis block. It is not a forecast — it is the observation that Bitcoin’s price has spent its entire history oscillating around one long-run regression, and it shows where price sits against that line today.
Rainbow chart
The same log regression drawn as coloured bands instead of a single line, so the question becomes which band price is in rather than what a model says it should be. Deliberately unscientific — the bands are a mood ring for the cycle, not a valuation.
Reachable nodes
Publicly listening Bitcoin nodes counted by a crawler. The true total is higher and unknowable: a node behind Tor or a home firewall answers nobody, and most home nodes are exactly that. Read it as a floor on decentralisation, not a census.
24h miner revenue
What miners earned in the last day — block subsidies plus fees. This is the security budget in dollars.
30d + 20d MA
Last 30 days of price with a 20-day moving average — momentum vs its own recent baseline.

Every subsidy era from genesis to the final satoshi around 2140 — dates, block heights, and each epoch's shrinking reward. The first epoch paid 50 BTC per block; 33 halvings cut it to a single satoshi by ~2140.
Sats time machine
Looks up the bitcoin price on any past date (daily close, UTC) and shows what a given amount of sats was worth then, what it's worth now, and the change since — useful for checking the fiat value of an old transaction or gift.
Active addresses 30d
Unique addresses active on-chain per day — a raw usage pulse.
ATH drawdown
How far price is below its all-time high. Deep drawdowns have historically marked accumulation zones; near-zero means price discovery.
Avg block time
Average time between recent blocks. The 10-minute target drifts with hashrate changes until the next difficulty adjustment.
Best time to transact — fee heatmap
Median confirmed-block fee for each weekday × hour (your local time) over the last month. Fees follow human activity — weekend nights are consistently the cheapest time to consolidate UTXOs or move coins.
Bitcoin search interest
Daily views of the Bitcoin Wikipedia article — a proxy for mainstream curiosity. Spikes tend to accompany price spikes and tops.
Block audit score
How closely mined blocks match what the public mempool expected. Sustained gaps can indicate transaction filtering or out-of-band inclusion.
Block rewards 1Y
Total miner rewards per block over a year. The subsidy halves every 4 years — fees must eventually carry security.
Block sizes 1Y
Average block size across the year. Consistently full blocks mean sustained demand for block space.

Current block height plus the live economics of recent blocks.
Block template audit · last 15
Per-block match rate vs the expected template for the last 15 blocks — under 100% may mean censored or privately-submitted transactions.
Block velocity
How fast blocks are being found relative to target — ahead of schedule means difficulty will rise at the retarget.

Bitcoin's share of the total crypto market cap. Rising dominance = capital rotating into BTC; falling = alt season.

Total return over standard lookback windows (24h to 1 year) — the same number everyone quotes, all in one place.

Cycle score
A composite of Mayer, Pi Cycle, F&G and hash ribbons condensed to one 0–100 cycle reading.

Difficulty adj.
How much harder or easier mining got at the last retarget, and the estimate for the next one. Difficulty follows hashrate follows miner conviction.

NUPL
Net Unrealized Profit/Loss — the share of total network value sitting in unrealized profit (derived here from MVRV). High positive readings (euphoria) have historically marked cycle tops; negative readings (capitulation) have marked bottoms.

Crowd-sentiment index (0 = extreme fear, 100 = extreme greed). Contrarians buy fear, trim greed.

ETF net flow
Net dollars into US spot Bitcoin ETFs on a trading day: creations (funds buying BTC) minus redemptions (funds selling). The cleanest single read on institutional demand.
Spot vs futures ETF
A spot ETF holds actual bitcoin in custody; a futures ETF holds CME contracts that roll monthly and bleed roll costs. Spot AUM is the number that matters for supply.
AUM (assets under management)
The total market value of everything a fund holds. For spot Bitcoin ETFs, effectively the fund's BTC stack × price.
Coinbase premium
Coinbase price minus Binance price. Positive = US institutions (who custody at Coinbase) paying up; negative = offshore or retail selling pressure leading.
Exchange reserves
BTC held in exchange wallets. Falling reserves = coins withdrawn to cold storage (long-term conviction, tighter supply). Rising reserves = coins staged to sell.
Stablecoin market cap
Total value of dollar-pegged tokens. It's the sideline cash of crypto — growth means fresh buying power parked one click away from bitcoin.
Liquidation
A forced close of a leveraged position when margin runs out. Cascading long liquidations crater price briefly (washouts); short liquidations rocket it (squeezes). Extreme days often mark local turning points.
MVRV Z-Score
Market cap minus realized cap, divided by the standard deviation of market cap. One of the most reliable cycle oscillators: historically, readings below 0 have marked major bottoms and above ~7 have marked cycle tops. Computed from Coin Metrics on-chain data.
Options open interest
The total value of open BTC options contracts across venues (Deribit holds most). Growing OI signals more institutional hedging and directional positioning through options rather than spot or perps.
Put/Call ratio
Open interest in put options divided by call options. Above 1 means traders are buying more downside protection (defensive); below ~0.7 means call-heavy positioning, a bullish tilt.
Max pain
The option strike price at which the greatest dollar value of contracts expires worthless — the level most painful to option buyers. Spot price often drifts toward max pain as an expiry date approaches.
Futures basis
The premium of the futures (here, perpetual) price over spot. A positive basis is bullish carry — traders paying to be long; a negative basis (backwardation) signals fear. On perpetuals it moves closely with the funding rate.
Exchange net flow
The real net amount of BTC moving onto or off exchanges, from tracked exchange reserves. Net outflows mean coins are leaving for cold storage (accumulation, tighter supply); net inflows mean coins are being staged to sell.
Taker buy/sell flow
Aggressive market-buy volume vs market-sell volume — the traders who cross the spread to get filled immediately. Net buying is demand-side pressure; net selling is supply-side. A cleaner read of intent than resting orders.
Top trader positioning
How the largest futures traders are positioned long vs short. The position ratio weights by capital committed (whale money) rather than number of accounts, making it the sharper "smart money" signal — especially when it diverges from the retail crowd.
Bull market peak signals
A basket of roughly 30 historical Bitcoin cycle-top indicators. The share that have triggered is a composite gauge of how close the market is to a peak — a "how frothy are we" score rather than any single call.
AHR999 index
An accumulation-timing indicator popular with long-term stackers. Below 0.45 flags deep-value bottom-fishing, 0.45–1.2 is the healthy dollar-cost-average band, and above 1.2 means Bitcoin is getting expensive relative to its trend.
200-week moving average
The average weekly closing price over the last 200 weeks (~4 years). Bitcoin has almost never closed a week below it, so it behaves as a long-cycle price floor. Price divided by the 200w MA shows how stretched the market is above that floor.
